Rotary solenoids convert linear motion to rotary motion and are used in a large array of industries. These electromechanical devices can be found in thermal imaging technology, laser applications, locks and even vending machines. They are usually found when a quick, easy automatic control process is needed. Rotary solenoids consist of a central metal core with a coil of wire wrapped around and transfer axial movement into rotary movement.
